In
Casmira, what you can do is limited only by your imagination. You inhabit
the virtual world in the form of an avatar, a representation
of yourself that can look like anything you choose. Make new friends and
meet other orchid growers in 3D chat, explore exotic plants in the forests
and swim beneath waterfalls, listen to the birds, browse the virtual greenhouse
with other citizens or build your personal, virtual home in a garden park
or an orchid plant paradise, a mansion perched on a seaside cliff or a
humble cabin in the mountains--the choice is yours--all in real-time,
3D virtual reality, all from your computer. |

We
are continuously adding world content, and would love for you to help
us out! We try to stop in every once in a while, usually between 7-8 PM
Central Time if you need us to answer a quick question. But, if you have
the inclination, you can build your own 3D space, in realtime, in Casmira,
and it's all really very easy! No knowledge of complicated 3D modeling
is necessary. Or, if building isn't particularly your thing, just download
the browser, stop on in, and give a holler to whoever's there! To
begin your explorations of Casmira, click on the image below. You will
be prompted to save the Windows installer file "casmira.msi" on your hard disk.
Choose your Desktop as the destination directory, and click "Save".
Once the Casmira installer is saved on your computer, double-click
the "casmira.msi" icon to start installation, and follow the directions on your screen. When installation
is finished, a shortcut named "RVO Casmira" will be placed on your
desktop. Double-click the shortcut, and get ready! You will be about
