    Default Horsetail rush

    I have heard it called a horsetail rush . But bet it has another name . Do you know if it is winter hardy? I have it in the greenhouse by my pond in a pot I got it last year . Thanks for any info. Gin

    Just did a little looking, seems like it's also called Whistle Grass. Latin name is Equisetum hyemale, and it can apparently tolerate lows down to -35F! I feel like I've seen that a lot, but just never knew its name. Very neat plant!

    The cold torerance is good ,you won't have to bring it indoors in the winter . I think it will do a lot better if left outside . It stops growing in the winter anyway . Gin
