Hoping a member may be able to help with POD holding times for Promenaea.
I have 2 lovely yellow w/spots Proms that are just starting to bloom and I wish to cross them but I have no idea how long the pods should hold for "green pod" culture or to maturity.

Murray (Orchid-man) might know. If you don't get a response soon, try sending him a PM. Good luck!

Roy, this site may be helpful. It lists the times it takes for a variety of Orchid seed-capsules to mature. Promenaea is listed under Exotic Species.

Thanks Joe & BD, I have seen this site but I have found that some of the times for the orchids I have bred with to be a little to a lot, out. Maybe its due to different cultural conditions, I don't know. It is a good guide though. I'm looking for someone who has actually done crossings recently as well.
