    You were basicly asking if the plant will recognize it's own pollen and not accept it? Possibly. that could be why some people spit on the pollen before introducing it to the next flower- your saliva would confuse the plant and keep it from recognizing its own pollen.

    so is that how a plant is selfed? by spitting on its pollen to confuse the plant?
