Just a beautiful video
"When does a passion for collecting orchids become an unhealthy obsession?" There is a little Laroche in all of us.
Awesome video !! I was some frightened when the humming bird was caught in the spider web and the spider was on the move !! The bats and the cactii were also awesome ! The efforts pit into such videos are tremendous, sometimes it takes a few years work for a 1 minute clip.
Thank You so much for sharing this Cathy. I was moved.

Earth: The only know planet with orchids...and chocolate. Care for the earth...there's no place like home
Wonderful video so nice the baby bat attached to their mother, the Humming birds very naughty like to bullies.
Lovely video and very beautiful. Moved is the right word!!!

"Life is always searching for happiness, like us and orchids. Once it's happy, it could reward you in many ways."
Amazing photography! Like Zain, I found it quite impressive that he even managed to capture a female bat carrying her offspring. Love to watch hummingbirds -- ornery little devils that they are.
“If nature were not beautiful it would not be worth knowing, and life would not be worth living. I am not speaking, of course, of the beauty which strikes the senses, of the beauty of qualities and appearances. I am far from despising this, but it has nothing to do with science. What I mean is that more intimate beauty which comes from the harmonious order of its parts, and which a pure intelligence can grasp.” - Henri Poincare
Thanks a million Cathy for sharing this most amazing video. It was so moving - truly poetry in motion, a celebration of life encapsulated in a short video clip. Awesome editing! What a beautiful and touching ending with that burst of the monarch butterflies, akin to the release of the life force.
Orchids are very eloquent. They tell their master by their appearance , how they are treated.

what a beautiful movie, it is just incredible what nature can do and how we mistreat it.

Great video. Thanks for sharing! Paul, I can't believe you spotted that bat w/baby. Good eyesight.
