    OrchidWiz tells me 110-130 days for green pod harvest. Don't know how long for a mature pod. Good luck. This fascinating species should be much more widely propagated and distributed.

    Thank you for the information. I hadn't thought to check Orchid Wiz. The pod was set about 6 months ago, and shows no signs of splitting, but will go ahead and harvest this week.
    Yes, it deserves to be more widely grown. My two plants came from a group importation from Kalimpong, India, in 2002, and had never bloomed, until this year, when both did!

    I have heard 150 days minimum for vandaceous, generally speaking.
