I was unable to sterilize because I didn't have access in my university dorm however If this one will be unsuccessful or is unsuccessful I will try properly at summer.

    Charlaux,

Does your media contain anything other than agar? I ask because orchid seeds won't just germinate on agar. The agar is just put into the mixture to solidify it. Orchid seeds require nutrients and most importantly carbon in order to germinate. In the wild these are provided by a symbiotic relationship between a fungi and the seed. In vitro we supply this by adding carbon in the form of sugar as well as varying amounts of nutrients (depends on the media). The main reason I ask this is because you stated you didn't sterilize the seeds but you don't have any contamination. Non-sterilized seeds in a normal orchid sowing media will almost immediately grow contaminants due to the high sugar and nutrient contents.

Also Phalaenopsis seed is incredibly short lived. The most success is found from seed from a capsule that just split or from green pod sowing.
