For the love of God!!!
I cant get any of my attempts on my bulbos to take. WTF! I have one bloom left that just opened on my Bulbo carunculatum. I would really llike to get a pod off this one.
I am able to make the pollen stick to what I believe is the stigmatic surface, what am I doing wrong? am I just being a jack ass?
Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated

Sometimes, you have to crush the pollenia with a toothpick and smear the stuff onto the stigma that way. Might give it a try.

i have found that you have to be very gentle with it. just do it how you think it would be done naturally.

Well I believe I did it! (knock wood) I used the crushing of the pollina trick, thanks Louis!
Now anyone know how long for a carunculatum pod to mature?

I just noticed this thread. I am evidently a periodically inattentive moderator.
Did this take for you? Are you crossing it, or selfing?
I thought I'd mention that I've tried maybe 8 or 9 Bulbo crosses, and so far only one took. I don't know what the deal is with that. I blame Canada.

It took, but then I lost it, go figure. Must be Canada!
