I have a Cinnamon Stick and I am very glad you posted about the bud sheath. Mine had a sheath that sat empty for so long that I gave up on it doing anything. Then, all of a sudden, there was a little shadow in the bottom of the sheath. And now, weeks later, the sheath is FAT but there is no sign of it opening. I was going to post a question about what to do when the bud is huge and the sheath won't open, but I guess I will calm down and wait it out now that I have read your post. I hope my flowers are half as pretty as yours. Thanks for the info!
