It's a Laelia anceps hybrid going by the shape of the flower and length of the inflorescense.

I think this shows influences of L. anceps (general flower form) and Myrmecophila (lip shape, more than one leaf). That's my shot in the dark.
Pretty clearly a L. anceps hybrid, possibly Lc. Biceps (L. anceps x C. bicolor).
Thanks for your input into the id of my orchid. Have been away for a week and the other buds opened up in my absence. Quite a pretty orchid.
Has anyone got a photo of a Laelia anceps x Cattleya intermedia. Someone has suggested that this might be the name. So if anyone has a photo I could compare? That would be great.
Bruce, would you say a very good match? I know my photo is more colour intense, but with different lights, there is a variance. The markings look the same.
Rosie, I have a Lc. Coastal Splendor x Schom. undulata cross that looks very similar. I can't find a picture of mine. I googled it and the few photos that are out there aren't good. I saw several in bloom when I bought mine and they varied in color.
I can back to edit my post to let you know how pretty this bloom is.
