This is a lovely plant and wonderfully bloomed. Alas, it cannot possibly have the parentage you mention.
C. Batalinii is C. bicolor x C. intermedia. All the Batalinii I have seen have been in the pink to lavender shades with splash petals from the aquinii parent. Combine this with Ranger Six, a strong Stewart's white, you can see that the beautifully intense orange you have cannot come from that cross.
What it does resemble is any number of Blc. Bouton D'or's offspring, including the wonderful Blc. Carolina Orange D'or. It might be worth your while to go back and see if you can find out who donated the plant. Maybe they still remember it?
Fantastic orange. I hope it smells as good as it looks.
