    Default Dendrobium Spring Dream 'Apollon'

Here is an orchid that is really putting on a show. It is a nobile type dendrobium. There are so many flowers and hardly a leaf on the plant. Amazing.

We had the same plant years ago but we killed it. Looks like yours grew quite tall. Ours stayed short. Anyway I hope I'm starting to get the hang of dends now I hope my dends are getting buds and not more keikis

Beautiful. Looks a lot like Snow King but with more green in the throat.

Bruce I know this is an old thread but I got a keiki of this a couple of months ago and it has thrown me up a keiki instead of flowers I was wondering if you could give me any cultural advice for this guy, does it need a dry winters rest? it was sold as not needing one but I am not sure, the keiki is growing well but the mother plant is very small about 3-4 inches tall and has a basal keiki or new cane I cant decide which ( I know i am not the most informed ) I have obviously done something wrong, it is growing about 4 ft away from a metal halide about 17-23c and watered approximately once a week to 10 days and sprayed the medium every 5 days or so. All advice welcomed and needed.

love the green eye in the white flower! Very NICE!
Sounds like you are getting new cane growth if it is not attached to older cane. If yours is small, it may still be too young to bloom

nobile-types get a drier winter rest ...you will find the info you need in this thread under Dend. nobile culture
