wow the shape and colour is amazing! excellent cross I assume by Motes.
That reminds me that the Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua x Vascostylis Tham Yuen Hae (which I bought when Motes came last year to give our society a paraphalanopsis and vanda talk) is in low spike now, and I don't bloom Vandaceous orchids generally. I'm excited!

For a moment there I read burning moats and sand, and had a strange mental image of a medieval castle by the sea coming under siege.
Anyway, colours on that asc are gorgeous, especially the half half split.
