Ok, well, I'm not an orchid expert - do you happen to know what it is, Pavel? I'd be grateful to know, because then I can contact the grower and perhaps get some sort of resolution, if it is not what I ordered. Does anyone know? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Your best bet, Becky would be to send a pic to the grower and see if they can ID it.

If you kill one, figure out why and buy another!!
I got better blooms with the second plant! My guess is with the first, I kept it in my kitchen wayyy too long, and it just didn't have the energy to develop the flowers the way it was supposed to. Not to mention that the plant suffered so much that I have only 1 little pbulb left from it, which is slowly developing a new growth...its pretty pathetic. Anyways, since I knew that I killed it, I bought another one - and this one is doing lightyears better!! These just opened on Thursday Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! These amazing plants teach us new things with every plant. Nice blooms.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Haha, thank you all for your kind comments...of course the last poorly-bloomed one was my fault, but I always believe that if you fall off the horse, you gotta get back on!!
