Just a pic of my two new purchases (they arrived in spike, so I can't take any credit for them :-) I really love their colors!

The first is Otr. Krull-Smith 'Riverbend' AM/AOS (Compact), and the second is Slc 'Jewel Box'. I'm excited about these - I've been dying to get a Jewel Box...so I just went for it!

Thanks for looking :-)
Becky

I love them both. RED RED RED! (The lip shape is particularly elegant.)

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Love the red pink mix on the left plant. Just very pretty. The jewel box is quite amazing too. Great choices.

Er.... Becky, not to rain on your parade but........

Is your Otarra really the color pictured? I've had one for 5+ years that I won at an auction at my old os. It was a division from one of the members who had had his for a number of years. The color is nothing like yours -- and being the same clonal variety, the flowers should not be different.

Here's an old pic of mine. The glare resulting fromk the satiny texture further scewed the color -- it's much darker more of a burgundy shade

Hi there! Yes, the otarra really is that color- its kinda strange actually, it surprised me when I received it - its a sort of transparent pink...its definitely not as vibrant as yours :-) I'm just reading the tag, and it comes from a reputable grower in Hawaii, so I'm not sure what else it could be...haha. Do you think its something else? Or maybe its a sick plant (it doesn't look bad, but it is very little...I think it could be a mini?)...not sure what else to say?
