Here is the new Dendrobium I bought today. I know nothing about it but I couldn't resist it. I just love the colors. The name on the tag is Dendrobium Oriental Smile 'Fantasy' AD/AOS. The scent reminds me of Fruit Loop cereal...lol. The top of the cane is yellowish in color......is that normal? or is something wrong?
The Yellowish cane is normal in a high light situation that produces that many flowers.
This is one of Yamamoto's hybrids--he is a GOD in this particular type of nobile hybridization.
aaaaagh, so beautiful!!! So tropical. Can I have some? haha
Beautiful , mine is done blooming , I agree it smells like Fruit Loops .. Gin
Love the color but I will have to go buy some Fruit Loops to smell the fragrance.
