    Thank you for the info. I am still trying to learn the habits of soft canes in general.
    The only other soft cane I have bloomed is Den. anosmum and that blooms first and then grows new canes - at least the one I have.

    You also noted that it is growing on your windowsill. How much light is it getting? and from what direction?
