    Default Dendrobium Hercoglossum

Just started blooming. Small fragrant flowers showing up in a tangled mess of canes, keikis and aerial roots. Perfectly adapted to my windowsill growing conditions, easy, no-fuss happy plant. I see a lot of buds this year and will post a picture of the whole plant in bloom when they all open up.

That is very pretty... the little button of a dark pink in the midst of all the paler pink is really pretty... just draws you in...

and a nofuss plant is always wonderful to have in a collection!

I had one of these and it succumbed to a horrible rot. Yours is lovely.

    Cute little flowers.
I have a Den. hercoglossum too but is a recent purchase and it is still in the process of growing new canes and is very green. Still a long way from blooming.

I made a mistake with my previous post. I got my soft canes mixed up lol.
The recent acquisition was Den. lineale and thats the one in active growth.
My Den. hercoglossum actually has shed all its leaves now and I'm hoping for some flower buds
The canes look thin and dry though, and no signs of any swelling buds

I PM'd you about sending you a keiki, I have a couple of keikis that are in buds/blooming that could be good candidates.

Maybe it's me but I never detect any swelling either and all of a sudden I see buds coming out of the nodes all at once. The buds usually appear soon after the new growth, root activity and some keikis on my plant.
