    Default Enc (Prosthecea) chocleata

This is another species that has been in my collection for many years. The original plant came from a member of my local OS, as a gift when I joined. It is an easy bloomer with a lovely fragrance.

Lovely Ron....I have had a rough time with these- but have one now that looks fairly happy and has one little new growth. In the meantime, I will enjoy yours in this photo!

Actually mine's an epi. green hornet. So. I guess I was being generic when I said "mine" in reference to yours.

LOL...I wondered if you would see my post....I had a green hornet and traded it away. It is not an improvement over the species, IMHO.

Each plant tends to vary a bit, from what I've seen in pictures. I've seen neither in bloom in person, so we'll have to wait and see.

You will enjoy Green Hornet, as much as I enjoy this one, They are very similar in appearance although I do recall that Green Hornet was a bit shorter of a plant. How large is your plant at this point?
