BLC. Esmerelda 'Heritage' AM AOS
Here is a lovely green cattleya orchid in bloom. It has a hint of purple on the tip of the lip. Very subtle. It has a wonderful fragrance, though not strong.

Thanks for checking it out!
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

That is really really nice! The purple is so subtle, and it looks big, too.

Very nice shade of green and the tiny hint of purple makes it really unexpected and cool.

That is so pretty! I just ordered a Blc. "Ports of paradise' because it is green - I really love green flowers, I think they are just the coolest!! Yours looks great, Bruce!

Thanks everyone! Denise, it is a standard cattleya, so a large bloom. There are actually three blooms on this one - one is hidden in the photo behind the wooden wall stud.
Cheers,
BD

That is a very nice shade and the shape is beautiful! Very nice one! Thanx for showing it. I don't think i've seen that gentle shade before.
Becky....i've had a regular 'Ports of Paradise' and mine is finally looking up. I also have two from a grower here that should be amazing. I can't wait as the larger one is in sheath.

That's a pretty greenie, Bruce. (I also like the little hint of purple on the lip).

I really like the green color on this one, and the purple goes with it, oddly enough...
