    Default after the storm

    We had a lovely storm this evening and when we were grilling I noticed my Vasco Mona Heidar X V Tessellata blooming against this very gray sky, thought that is was pretty.

    Is that the sky in the background? I thought it was a gray/pinkish wall!

    Nice blooms, Cin. I had to take a second look at the photo too. The sky looks so flat. Very different.

    That is wild! A mauve sky... it must have been the afterglow from sunset? Anyway it certainly makes a very interesting combination with the color of that vanda.

    Great pic, Cin! It looks like the sky was mirroring the blooms. The flowers are beautiful, too. Nice coloring. So you finally got some rain! Yea!! You have some beautiful and unusual skies down there. Love the FL west coast.
