Holcoglossum kimballianum
This beauty was separated from Vanda. I grow it bright, in a warmer location of the greenhouse. It is in a basket and watered often, less in the winter.

Nice flower though it surprised me that it had been in the vanda group -- if I had had to guess I would have thought it was some kind of dendrobium.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .
