    Is it more green tinted or yellow? The photo looks greenish to me. I like the contrast of pale green with the purple/pink lip. Thanks for posting this one!

    This is one of my favorites. We have a division also that has grown into a specimen plant. The blooms are a great green color. Wonderful BLC!

    Big green semi-floof...

    I love the lip--it is gorgeous...and the 7" flowers, eh? Superb (Yes..I have a thing for huge flowers.)

    It really is a wonderful cattleya. The original plant was given the award prior to 1977. I bought BLC Helen Brown "Sweet Afton" in 1978. So your friend by now must have quite a few plants. I still have at least 4 large plants which will again soon need subdividing. I have only recently joined the forum but have posted a photo of one of the recent flowerings. The recent flowering had 4 perfect flowers about 16cms.
