    Default Pot. Hoku Gem 'Freckles'

This is a Bl. Richard Mueller cross with SLC. Tangerine Jewel. I love the red-orange blooms. The plant remains relative small and produces several blooms on each new growth. The flowers fade from a vibrant red-orange to a soft, creamy yellow retaining their highly contrasting spots. Enjoy!

That is beautiful. It looks like good size bloom. Does it smell like tangerine?

I'm surprised you have trouble with them, Connie. Particularly my Hoku Gem 'Superspots' has proven to be one of the most durable plants I have. Years back I went upstate to my folk's place for 2 weeks for winter break -- and accidently left the pot COMPLETELY submerged in water. Not only did I not lose the plant, I didn't even lose any roots. Bloomed really really well soon after that if I'm remembering correctly.....

Wow, those spots! That beauty dazzles the eye. Let me know if you ever get tired of her (wink, wink).

No, no fragrance that I can smell at all. I think this one is just 'pretty'.

Nice one Bruce, I especially like that first photo! Mine is blooming right now too and I never get any scent from it. Like you said... 'just' pretty!

    'just' pretty
That alone is good enough reason to add it to my wish list.
