Hi Buzz. As Kelly said, you have a dendrobium. I don't have a specific name as it looks like several other dends. It is beautiful and the photo (and background) is really nice too.

Thanks again as always Brutal Dreamer for the info that it is a dendrobium. Thats a whole lot more than I had to start with. But is there anybody else out there that has anymore ideas ? Please don't give up on me. Thanks

It is very pretty....but unfortunately these den's come out of the far east by the 1,000s at a time. Enjoy it's beauty and give it a fun name...I have a purple phal no name I call Purple Flea because I got it at the flea market and it's purple. Sometimes naming them yourself is alot funner....

Most specific we could get: Dendrobium of the section phalaenanthae

Thanks CJ & Clint for staying with me. I liked your idea CJ and since I live in Fort Worth Texas and our University is the TCU Frogs and their color is Purple & White and my Dendrobium is also Purple & White , I'm going to call it "Dendrobium Purple & White Frog"

Looking at the attached photos I would say it looks very like a dendrobium bigibbum type but you decide
