It is beautiful Rich, I would say lots of light and mist with diluted fertilizer once a week. but that is MHO.

Very nice Rich. In Malaysia the flowers may last about 3 months. Very hardy plants easy to grow. Fertilizer and light as mention by Cin. On the right side with no flower you can splits when the flowers drop.

Zain, are you saying I can split the plant into two plants? It is very root bound now.I know that Den.s like to be tight in the pots.I haven't ever had to split a plant apart. Is it,just cut to have two canes per plant? Anyone please advise. Thank You,Rich

Yes you can split into 2 plants when the flowers fade and make sure the plant must have life roots at the base of pseu.bulb . The best 2 to 3 canes per plant. Sooner or later you have too because the pot is too small, the plants overgrowth, and my worry root rots may occur. Never mind you can take your time. Good luck. Zain..

What a gorgeous bouquet. Dends don't normally do well for me but maybe if I talk very nicely to it? Going on the wish list.

Nice score Rich! Specimen sized plants are nicer than many smaller plants...I would vote for not dividing it. Based on Baker and Baker: This species take bright light but not full sun (1000 - 2000 fc) so you can do Paph light. Mid to high 80's during the day, high 60's at night. about 75% humidity all year. No rest, water all year but cut back the water in late winter for 2 months but don't let it go totally dry. Fertilize throughout the year at 1/2 strength cutting back a bit when you cut back the water. The flowers can last 5-6 months on this species. Repot at time of active root growth.

    What is the fragrance like?

The scent is very sutle, fruity, almost like citrus.Ron,I currently have this plant indoors under lights. It should have enough light. My only concern is the humidy issue.I live in Florida,so I have the air conditioning on,set at 80.Should this plant be moved outdoors? There would be more humidy.I would prefer to keep it indoors.I have no more room for plants,I am max out for space. No vacancy at the Rich's Orchid Hotel. Now,I need to take inventory and write down my plant list.Thank You,Ron for your insight.Thank You Zain and Cin for your opions.I've had afew bad days lately.Sorry if I've ticked anyone off. Rich
