    Smile Repotted Dendrobium Blooms

I recently posted an article about a big noid Dendrobium. It has finally begun opening it's buds. The flowers are dark purple and a nice suprise....my other suprise came when I found the fifth spike on the top. This big fat dendrobium noid turned out to be a fun project....and is going to be a beauty for some time to come with this many spikes of flowers! The picture of the entire plant shows the blooms closest to their true color. The purple is so dark it was difficult to get the pics to come out well. So I took tons....lol I love the contrast between the one with flash and the one with sunshine lighting it from behind.
    Hope you enjoy them....

The purple gloss on the petals are wonderful. The lip veining is also very pronounced.
    Good job Connie!
