    Default In Bloom

Morning y'all. Cold here in NWF 52º Brrrrr. A couple of chids poped open recently. The first is a Dend noid with 6 spikes and over 40 blooms

and a closeup. This was my very first orchid. Since then, I have divided and spread it around to all my friends in NWF. Only have this one mother plant left.

This next one is a first time bloomer for me. Bought at a big box store as a bag baby last year and now has 3 blooms open with 5 more buds ready to pop. The plant itself also tripled in size in one year. And oh yeah, it's fragrant. Between this one and my Lc.Angel Heart which is still in bloom, my house smell like an aroma therapy Ashram. Enjoy!

Nice growing. They must love their home there...

They both are pretty, but I like the pink BLC more.

Nice growing, Ischel! Love that dend. We only got to 59 down the road here. Time to crank up the fireplace.

Very beautiful!!! I really like dendrobiums, and yours has so many blooms!!! I recently purchased a dend that I hope will do well for me...it hasn't done much in about 7 weeks, its just kinda sitting there, but hopefully it will do something soon!!

Yeah a $5.00 bag baby. Don't know what's going on but the box store(the only one in my area) has stopped carrying them. I make weekly trips there and have only been able to find some driedup vandas. All other orchids they carry are way out of my range! And there are no nurseries in the area. This has really put a cramp in my orchid collecting. Of course the OH is pretty happy about it!
Thanks guys for all the feed back. Glad you enjoy the fotos.
