    Default Yeah, a new Cattleya!

Yesterday I was in a garden center to buy a big bag of Hydroton.
Suddenly I heard a little voice calling "Please Stefanie, take me with you!" When I looked well I saw a beautiful Catt hybrid with 3 open flowers. It also has 2 more spikes with all together 5 or 6 more flowers to open. They have a lovely sweet but soft smell!
I really couldn't leave this poor thing in that garden center...

You did the right thing! Just think of all the indignities the poor thing would have suffered there. It is beautiful. :-)

    Cool

Don't let those sweet-talking little plants get to you! Last night, as temperatures dropped too close to freezing for my comfort, I had to carry in all 53 of my sweet talkers! Sure, they're all charming on the first date, but then it's demands, demands, demands. (I'm in too much sun, I need more water, I need less water, it's freezing out here, my cousin needs a home!)

    Addicted to love.
