    Smile Two catt's in bloom

Two Cattleya types in bloom, both originally "baggie babies"....and at the same time! Woo Hoo... I'm hoping the cold snap and the trip into the living room won't ruin the flower spikes I have growing on the Miltassia and my 'Little Stars'. I'm spritzing them from time to time...

I've got blooms on my Blc. 'Hawaii Stars' and the Bc. Little Marmaid 'Janet'. The 'Hawaii Stars' has no scent and is a smaller flower. The 'Janet', is an amazing color this time...almost a color changer. It can look pale purple, maroon or an unique darker purple...depending on the light at the moment. It smells very spicy and the scent is much stronger this blooming. Both have been wonderful plants that encouraged me to buy more of the baggie baby types. You usually have a small wait for the blooms, but they are are worth it!

    Hope you enjoy the pics...

Wonderful, vibrant colors on those blooms!
I love this time of the year when all the cattleyas start really blooming out.

    Cheers,
