    Default Dend rigidum

This mini Aussie species used to only bloom in the spring. Since mounting it, it now blooms more frequently and has been blooming on and off for the last couple of months.

I like the stripes of color. Is it fragrant?

Don't know if the dends are the same, but my floofies don't smell at all at night, but are glorious after a few hours of sun... The brasileria also has a reduced smell in the evening... I guess moth like chids would be the opposite to give off smell when their target audience is active...

Yes, many species are only fragrant when the pollinator is active. Many white flowers are night fragrant due to moth pollinators. Actually, it is the reverse. Flowers that are pollinated by moths, which are night active, don't need color therefore they tend to be white.

I have a few plants that the fragrance changes at different times of the day...maybe in nature they have more than one pollinator. There are many species without a fragrance though.
