    I bet y'all thought you'd see a really big orchid ....well it's only a baby. Got it as a wee one last summer and already it blooming. Lucky me!

    It's great to see a young plant flower like that,I brought seedlings of gigantea and retusa last year so I am happy to see I will not have to wait to long for flowers.

    Very nice. Mine is growing it's spike ever so slowly. Cannot wait for the first buds to open and release their scent .
    Pavel - They are actually very slow growing and start blooming when small. You could get a small one and it would many, many years before it outgrew you.

    My Rhyn Retusa is still alive, probably no thanks to me. It has a strong survival instinct. How is yours doing Tami?

    Doing pretty well. I lost a couple of leaves in the summer but by fall the roots were about to take over the place. I think it likes less light than vandas and catts and seems to be more comfortable now. Do you remember when it likes to bloom?
