Default Spots on the back - Bc Maikai

Bc Maikai (B. Nodossa x C. bowringiana) front and back pics. I moved the plant to the dining table to enjoy while we ate. The blooms paled a bit due to lower light levels, but what is really striking is that the spots are on the back of the petals that show thru. Cool! No fragrance, but I love the shape and lavender color of this orchid.

That is nice, Tami. A really interesting bloom. Thanks for the front and back shots. It is cool to look at the front and see a hint of the spot from the other side.

    Cheers,
    BD

Hi Meg, the whole plant is about a foot tall and 18'' across. The blooms are about 3 1/2 inches across. I wish it had a fragrance - it looks like it would smell like lilacs or something! Thanks for looking.
