    Default Vanda (Richella Blue 'Cosmic Pink' HCC/AOS x Pattaya Beach AM/AOS)

    This vanda is just starting to open up. I really like the color on this one. The cross is still unnamed, but here it is:

    Beautiful, Bruce. I love the shade darkening slightly toward the bottom of the bloom.

    Oooh, that is a beauty! The color is so consistent, yet so understated--that is an unusual combination in vandas. I love it! Where did you find it? Just curious.

    We have been growing if for 15+ years. We originally got it in Charlottesville, VA as a first bloom seedling.

    I like any vanda that blooms easliy and that one looks like it will be nice when it is all out.And what sort of effort does it take to flower it in the middle of your winter mine never do.

    No special effort. The vandas here just bloom when they want. I have another one that is about the same age, but it is not in bud yet.

    I took this one to show a last weekend and I was lucky to get a HCC, but it will look better when the other two spike's come out. Mokara Luenberger Gold.
