    Default Sedirea japonica in bloom

    Hi all,

I hope this is in the right category. It's in the Vanda Alliance, but not especially Vanda-like. Perhaps BD can move it to Other Orchids In Bloom if it's not correctly placed. I did find one other Sedirea in bloom in this section, though, so hope I'm correct.

Some of you have seen this plant already, if you looked at the thread by Becky on Sedirea japonica won't bloom, where I posted some photos of it in spike:
    http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...ont-bloom.html

At any rate, thought I should let you see what the blooms looked like. They are nicely fragrant. I can't let you experience that, so you'll have to imagine.

    Cheers,
    Rob

Very pretty blooms, I especially like the random purple-reddish stripes.

Ooooo... I am soooo envious. I have small plant, and there it sits with its two leaves... I'm starting to think it is fake. Very pretty blooms -- thanks for sharing!

Rob. It looks so fresh and pretty. I envy you. I bought one, brought it into bloom, and them it decided it didn't like my living conditions. I wonder how much it liked the conditions in that big green container in my garage.
