what i love about these plants are that as long as you give them plenty of light, they grow and bloom fairly easily.

    Hey Bruce,

Speaking of keikis, how did those Neobenthamia gracilis keikis make out? It's been a couple of years.

It is still very tiny, but still green.

I didn't grow the parent, but I remember the advice that it can't get too much heat or direct sun. LOL, it wouldn't like my winters!

It gets almost direct sun, but is still only about 10 inches tall and a single growth. I thought it was lost at one point, but then it perked back up. I hope it makes it. I love the flower it will eventually produce.

    cheers,
    BD

Oh, 10 inches isn't so small! I was worried that it had gone into hibernation! Granted, it's a tall plant (the parent was over a meter tall), but it sounds like yours is well on its way.

I'm glad it's survived for you. It really is a neat plant and one you don't see often. And as I observed, totally unsuited for my conditions.

    McJulie
