    Default Dend Mini Snowflake

I almost traded this off last year. Glad I kept it. It has 4 spikes this year. It is a primary cross of D. abberans x johnsoniae. The flower looks like a larger abberans on a compact plant of about 5" . Purchased as a large seedling from a Hawaiian vendor at the Miami Show a few years ago

Beautiful, very smart move to have kept it! Nice picture of those white blooms.

    It's a beauty, Ron!

How do you grow it? I have a johnsoniae that hasn't bloomed for me.

Julie it is in diatomite and water frequently while in growth and less in the winter. It is in a southern facing window

Ron, do you like diatomite? Do you use it much? I have a few things in it, but am about ready to give up on it. I've tried it both in s/h and a more conventional manner.

    Cheers,
    Rob

Mine is mounted and I'm sure it's not getting all the watering it wants.

I might just plant the mount in a pot, stick and all, with some sphag.
