I have been known to buy in the middle of the night on-line without anyone knowing. My wife doesn't know how to access the paypal account so I don't get in trouble.

SO pretty! Thanks to both of you for sharing. I love a beautiful RED orchid! This one is a favorite.

    Cheers,

She numbered the plants and has a count, I'm grounded until I get the yard cleaned up for spring and paint the hall. I've been 3 weeks on that but I get through it maybe

LOLOL That is hysterical...and shows true obsession. I'm impressed!!

Thankfully I was recently married, and since we both work, my husband and I don't do that "joint account" thing...I couldn't handle him looking at all my orchid-related purchases...

I work hard for my money, so I can't have him nit-picking everything I buy, no way...

OH! And bob, not to stir up trouble in your house...but, um, who made all the money between you and your wife? I bet it was you...why does she get to make all the spending decisions? I think you are too nice

LOL... I should show this thread to my husband and let him know I could be a lot worse...

Everybody has (should have too) a little hobby. Life is only good if we are enjoying it

Becky I showed her this hoping it would help She Just laughed (wicked Laugh) and said she did't put up with you for 30 Years. Well I thought that was rude.

To tell the truth on the money we are equal and I think that is great she worked pretty hard raised the kids, worked and got a masters in education and put up with me . She was driven to have equal pay for equal work. I'm proud of her she's my best friend (except for the Orchids)

PS Not don't tell her I bragged on her, I don't want to go there thats a nitemare in the making

Paul, I don't think it's just the camera. I have the same problem whenever I try to capture reds & purples in photos and when I commented on that, I was told by several people this was a typical experience. Some people are really good at tweaking the settings on their cameras to overcome this, but I lack the patience.

I like both Becky's & Paul's plants! I have Jewel Box, also, but the clone I have is 'Scheherazade' rather than 'Dark Waters'.

    Cheers,
    Rob
