is it in a water resevoir? do you just water as usual? i have moved all but a few catts to s/h. they end up having healthier roots for me. traditional methods lead to rot eventually. nice job with your plant - it's very beautiful.

Nope...no s/h on this one. It gets watered about every 5 days, drains in the kitchen sink and goes back on the drip saucer.

That's amazing Client. How much light does it get in the office. It doesn't seem to be that much from the picture. Great blooms

Thanks! The plant is moved to my desk when in bloom. The 6' South windows in my office can scorch it in June-August if I don't move it back. It gets lots of light! (Enough to turn the new growth almost purple until the leaf elongates and matures.)

    Default What A Beauty

Wow what a beautiful Orchid that is grown in nothing but Hydroton and in your office . Is it done via semi-hydro and and how did you get holes on the upperside side of a clay pot? Do you water it every day? The orchid is such a great big specimen. Way to go. It's got me interested in switching to 100 % Hydroton. Can you go just 100% Hydro with out doing a reservoir and semi-hydro and just water by hand like you would if you just had Bark and with holes on the bottom rather than up on the side.I'm sorry but I think I have asked questions already asked.
