Oh my gosh! Look at the size of those blooms! I am amazed at the size of that pseudobulb! No wonder the flowers are so huge because the plant is so fat and healthy that is why it can support the size of those flowers!

Maybe you use osmocote time released pellets? Maybe the organic fertilizer might be high in nitrogen that explains the size of the pseudobulbs? Then maybe as the pseudobulbs harden under strong Vietnam sunlight then maybe you apply blooming booster fertilizers? Could it be like this the way you feed your plants? Just a hunch.

    LOL!

Hey Rick, since horse pooh is high in nitrogen expect that flowering will be reduced and might be temporarily suspended in favor of vegetative growth for a while. In this case, give the plant plenty of bright light so that the plant can imbibe the extra nourishment into its tissues and help the pseudobulbs harden as they mature.

Once the vegetative growth matures and hardens, I would personally switch to weak blooming booster fertilizer to encourage the flowers to form (if it happens to be the season for flowering).
