    I don't believe the parentage could produce a cattleya so overlapped. ( C .Intermedia x Bc. Donna Kimura ). Any comments? Cattmad.

    I agree. I took a look at both parents and both of the Donna Kimura parents. I can see where the color comes from (Cattleya Bob Betts), but the shape being so round is confusing. The other members of the cross are all pointy shaped blooms.

    Regardless of how it happened, I like it a lot! It is so nice to see a mini white with such a cool shape.

    Surprising. Looks like it should have somethnig like Ctna Maui Maid 'December Bride' in it, but apparently not.
