Your information is correct, but I would like to add to it if I may. The parent esalqueana was originally regarded as Sophronitis and is now accepted as the species Cattleya. So on that basis it is C. Jungle Elf even though some references still refer to it as Sc. Jungle Elf. Sorry about being a bit pedantic but I thought it was an interesting scenario. Cattmad.

In response to your query, Rsc Serene Beau is a hybrid cross of Rsc Serene Sunset x Sc Beaufort. The Ella part of your query I am presuming this is the varietal name ' Ella '. Hope this will assist. Regards, Cattmad.

malshacar, mini catts do very well in spag, I used to grow all mine in spag until the price got so prohibitive I refused to pay it, so I went back to bark. Minis prefer the cooler climate so you shopuld do very well with them in your location. Cattmad.

Tim if you find some, please leave one for me! I'm really fond of all aclandiae crosses, and this is one of my favourites with C. Brabantiae.

Thanks Cattmad for sharing this with us

That sure is pretty. Reminds me of orange and pink popsicles.
