    Default C. intermedia var coerulea

I love the flower shape of the intermedias, but I feel they are somewhat leggy and rambling plants (at least this one). I haven't noticed a scent and this one has been open for about 5 days now.

lovely...been seeing quite a few pics of them...must be intermedia time. Do they bloom off of last years mature growth or did this growth just develop?

It bloomed from the new growth produced over Fall/Winter. The growth produced last Summer made a sheath and didn't do anything (warmer night temps?) I think the intermedias are probably the weeds of the Catt family--an easy growing species.

I think that is lovely! and if its easy growing maybe its one for me to try soon. I love the shape of the flowers and the colour contrast.

I've had two, but neither bloomed for me. I had a ton of new growth, but no sheaths.
