    Default Brassavola Jiminy Cricket

    My reward for working so hard the last couple weeks....it has two more buds developing, a sheath and a new growth!! I was amazed it was on sale, i've been wanting one of these.

    It is a wonderful primary hybrid and a great combo of Rhyncholaelia (Brassavola) digbyana and B. nodosa parents!

    Okay, yes it has scent! Enough to sit it at least five feet away and still have it very strong from just the one flower. I have noticed as the evening gets later the stronger it's getting too...when the second bud opens it may have to be sat across the room it's getting so strong. It smells exactly like the orchid hand cream from a store that sells scented soaps and bath sprays I shop at.
