Bought this last year as a bare-root South American import. I most likely should have not let it bloom so it established better. The plant looks ratty for it did not have any viable roots last year but I wanted to see what it looked like. The form is pretty good and I suspect will improve after the plant establishes better. The flower is past prime. I had it stuck in a back corner and didn't realize it was in bloom, for I didn't expect it to bloom this year. It actually bloomed off of 2 growths
It is very promising, it's a beauty. I bet next time it blooms it will be amazing.
Pretty surprise blooms. I love to find something in bloom that I did not expect to bloom. Sort of evens out the times I can't get something to bloom that I really want to bloom.
Beautiful! I like it alot!
