Default Catt Orchid Green and purple NOID

I went to the orchid store to buy some pots and bark for repotting some old cymbidiums. Somehow, I came home with this. The flowers aren't fully open yet, but I couldn't resist the green/purple color combo. I really must find my digital camera. The cell phone really isn't a permanent solution!

Very pretty! Believe me, I know how it is to go for one thing and on the way home you realize you are holding something that was not on the list...LOL And I can understand why you were holding it......It's beautiful!

Raika- Indeed, it does! Hopefully the flowers will be fully opened and still looking pretty when I return from my upcoming trip. I'll try to post additional pictures as the buds open up. There is another sheath with 5 more buds.

Margo- maybe I should just call this one Impulse! I was at the register, almost out the door when I saw this one sitting on the table. I am a sucker for green flowers.

    Make that three of us!

Oftentimes I go to the garden or nursery and what happens is worse for me ...... I end up not buying the things on my list because either they are out of stock or I put some of the items aside for another day because I found plants that I couldn't resist instead. LOL!

The bad news for me is that my 2 main orchid suppliers take credit cards. All I have to do is swipe & sign and everything is mine!!

LOL! That means the temptation for you is greater then because it is soooo easy to make a purchase anytime knowing you are armed with "plastic money"!

Well, if you're like me, you could be perpetually maxxed out, and then you couldn't buy anything. LOL
