wow jojo nice blooms you've got there now, yes its been raining hard here for the whole
    week as well.

anyways, i have already made up my mind i will definitely get that masao when i get the
chance to get to the tiange. Also I cant help but notice that you've got the plants behind your
AC, doesn't the hot air from it affect your plants?

    thanks for sharing.

    hi randy,

yes it has been raining hard this week as you very well know the weather bureau announced there is a low pressure area forming nearby and this is the start of the monsoon rainy weather so you can just imagine all that water! So now I have to keep my ceiling fan switched on 24/7 to increase air flow to prevent bacterial rot from getting in.

As to the A/C and the plants, well if you notice in the photograph I do not place any plants directly in the path of the exhaust grills. Most of the plants are just located around the A/C so there is no direct hot air blasted on the plants. Besides, it is dangerous to place ANY plants in the path of the A/C exhaust as this will likely block the exhaust and will become a fire hazard! Another thing is that the plants I placed up there outside my window on the second floor are mostly warm growing, sturdy plants like dends and semi-terete vandas .... not a place for phalaenopsis, cattleyas or the sensitive stuff.

    jojo
thanks for clarifying that. reason i asked is that we are going to install an A/C for our room
and the plants are going to be directly in front of it.

    thanks.
