This is probably my favorite of the minis. It so vigorous and growing around a 4" pot. I'm kinda scared to repot it at this point.

    Thanks. No scent, unfortunately.

You have some really nice blooms right now. The flowers on this one are so cute. I really like the coloring in the lip.

    That is so pretty.

I bought a 2" seedlingin April, and I was looking at my little luteola today and wondering if I am doing anything wrong. It hasn't grown anything at all since I bought it. Other seedling catt has shown new growth or/and roots. Is it a slower grower?

You probably aren't doing anything wrong. My luteola completes growth in March and then sits around a couple of months before blooming. After blooming this plant will rest a couple of weeks and usually begins throwing up new growth in early August. It appreciates dry conditions and especially a dry winter.

Very nice flowers! I know what you mean about being afraid to repot. It took me months to get up the courage to repot my Little Marmaid...it's been such a great bloomer. I didn't want to go and mess anything up...

beautiful floofy lip on this mini! I had one and kept it too wet i think.. will have to look for another and follow the dryer growing regime.
