Smile My first Cattleya... YEAH!...

At LAST!... I think my prayers are being answered by God almighty... First the Den. and now this lovely Cattleya... Actually I was looking for some new phal hybrids and found out that our local flower shop has added this Catt. hybrid to their product list... I checked all the plants and picked up this one with less flowers (em...?) and more leaves... After killing my first phal I realized that buying a plant with more vigorous growth is more important than just flowers... moment of silence... This plant has small fragrant yellow/red flowers and as always, No tag... The fragrance is like some complex smell I've never smelled... Some sort of magnoliatic/lemony thing... Its not very strong but hey... Its the only fragrant orchid I have!...
Since I don't know anything about cattleya taxonomy, please help me find its devision/group...

I have no idea what it is, but it sure is beautiful. What an unusual color pattern. I'll bet Connie, or one of our other catt people will be able to give you more information.

Thank you so much for showing this to us. I wish you both a long and happy life, filled with beautiful orchid blooms.
