    Clint, there is no black hairs on the stem.
    Hoanglong got the correct one, sanguinolentum var Sarawak the flower more rounded and beautiful as compare var Peninsular Malaysia.You can see the photos below in my collection.

    Plant your flowers are beautiful and it looked quite strange ,in Vietnam i sees chromaniance Dendrobium cumulatum from white, violet alba, until violet

    It doesn't look like Den sanguinolentum as shown in "The Internet orchid Photo Encyclopedia" Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia. The one shown there has pink-tipped tepals and lip or is that just another variety?

    Hi Yew nice to meet you in this forum. Actually they are few variation of den sanguinolentum.The one that you described earlier is one of the most beautiful that can be seen in the Cameroon Highland with pink colour on the tips however those with orange colour is widely distributed in South East Asian and the flower from Sarawak is more rounded and free flowering as compared to the variety from Cameroon Highland.
    Unlikely Den. Sarawakense because there are no hooks on the labellum.
